The program for the 2018 SEA conference has been announced. The focus this year will be on Frontiers in Scientific Software. This could be the best SEA conference since the program started in 2012!

The conference will feature:

• The always popular talks, on a variety of topics, including Data Analysis, HPC and cloud
• Two high level keynotes
• An incredibly rich offering of tutorials, on topic ranging from Deep Learning to Debugging and profiling HPC code; from data analysis and visualization with Python to probabilistic forecast
• Last, but by any means not least, a first for SEA: two fantastic symposia
• The first symposium is about Overlapping Communication with Computation, a must for anybody interested in parallel programming
• The second symposium is about Containers in HPC, a unique opportunity for container developers and system administrators to discuss challenges, issues and features of deploying container in a production HPC environment
